The Jewish Route
We start by visiting Porto, where there is the largest synagogue in the Iberian Peninsula and the Holocaust Museum. Then we go to the interior of the country, to discover and learn about traditions and places where Jewish communities thrived and still thrive. Portugal is today a peaceful and multicultural country, which integrates various cultures and creeds, but it was not always like this. An agreement with the Catholic Kings, Fernando and Isabel from Castela, led to one of the darkest pages in our history.

The Templar route
Portugal is a Templar country. The Knights Templar took part in the foundation of the kingdom of Portugal, the country that has the oldest border in the world. Latter in 1314, when the Templars were persecuted throughout Europe, it was in Portugal that they found refuge. Their memories are still present in churches, monasteries and dream castles.
